Old Man...

Brent is now officially an old man at 27! Keagan and I tried to take the sting off a little and spoil him. Brent really loves white sheet cake with white frosting that has been put in the fridge for awhile. I personally think that it is boring and not that tasty. So instead of making everyone eat Brent's cake, we got him his own personal sheet cake! He was a very happy boy!

We went out to Ruby Tuesdays for his birthday dinner! We never go there, but it was really yummy. I think that we will be visiting there more frequently!

Our good friends, the Webers, always make our favorite dinner and cake for our birthdays. When asked what kind of cake that Brent wanted (and after we had told him that he couldn't have a white sheet cake) he said that he wanted a Beauty and the Beast scene. Laurel and Todd were very creative and made this masterpiece! It tasted delicious!
I don't know if I should be worried about his choice.....

The handsome birthday boy!!

My two favorite guys!!! So handsome!

I am happy that Brent is finally 27 with me so he can put the "Cougar" jokes away til next year. Such a funny man that I married!!! Love him!

5 Months Old!!

Keagan turned 5 months last week and he is still the cutest baby EVER! He has recently perfected rolling from his back to his stomach and does it every chance that he gets. The problem was that he forgot that he knows how to roll back to his back and he would get frustrated. But today we had a break through and now he is just rolling all over the place. He can almost sit up by himself now also.

Here are some recent photos....

Keagan has an impressive closet full of Nebraska clothing... this cute one is courtesy of Aunt Shelley and Uncle Tim!

Look how big he is sitting up in the chair by himself!

That face makes my day! I really don't think that there is anything cuter!

This is the cute sight that Brent and I get to see every morning. He wakes up talking to himself and then when you come in to get him, he just smiles and tells you all about his dreams! I love it!!!

Cheyenne

This last weekend we took a road trip to Cheyenne, Wyoming. My family is so enraptured with Keagan that they convinced us to meet them halfway from Utah, which happens to be in Cheyenne. We had so much fun and Keagan, of course, was smothered with love. I don't think that there is a baby more loved!

He was so good in the car ride there. At one point I sat in the back seat with him, and he was so excited that we just giggled and played for a long time!

The cute boy getting dressed for the day!

My parents can't get enough of their little grandson. It was a constant battle to see who would hold him!

Karlie got these great pictures of Keagan doing his favorite thing.... licking everything in sight!

Two cool guys!

Whenever my family is together we always end up bowling!

Mom and Dust were tied until the last frame when Dustin got 2 strikes in a row. My mom wasn't very happy about it!

Dustin had the high score overall, but Travis won the last game.... Dustin still thinks he is #1. I am sure that Travis has something to say about that!

It was so great seeing my family!!! We had an amazing trip and are counting down the days until we get to see them again!

Cool Guy

Keagan has super sensitive eyes in the sunlight, like his mother. I have been looking for the perfect pair of sunglasses that fit his little head and finally found them. He is so good and will leave them on. Its so funny seeing people's reactions to him. They stop and stare and congregate around him just to see how cute he is!!

Tummy time...

Keagan used to HATE tummy time. But now that he knows that he can roll over whenever he wants, he is starting to enjoy it. He makes the cutest faces! I just love it!!!

I don't think that there is any cuter face than this!

Easter

For Easter we went to Gretna for dinner at Brent's aunt and uncle's house. We had a really great time! The weather was wonderful and we were able to walk to the park. Keagan went down his first slide with his dad. I am not sure if he loves it yet... but I am sure he will in the future!

The cute things he does....

We went to Keagan's 4 month check up yesterday and he is still a very healthy baby! He weighed 14 lbs 7 oz and was almost 26 inches long! He is going to be long and skinny like his parents!
Here are some new things about my precious baby...
1. His new goal in life is to fit his entire fist in his mouth. He spends many hours working on this new goal!
2. He now rolls over all the time. We still try to do "tummy time" but he is thrilled that he now can roll over to his back and thwart his parents wishes.
3. I have figured out what always makes Keagan laugh.... me panting! I am not sure how I figured this out, but he loves it. The other day Keagan and I were on skype with my mother and sister, Karlie, and I informed them about Keagan loving it when I pant. The next thing I know, both my mother and sister are up at the camera panting. Keagan just looked at them like they were crazy... which I think that they might be... haha.
He is still the cutest baby and the love of my life. (besides Brent, of course!)
Here are some more pics....

Rolling over... what a big boy!

Out for a walk!

Do you think his father has branded him as a Husker fan yet? It is amazing how many things of Keagan's have a red "N" on them. He is a husker fan through and through... as if he had a choice!
