Turning 8 months in Utah!

Keagan was able to hang out with family in Utah on his 8month birthday! We went to the park for Layton's "Taste of the Town". It was great. A bunch of local vendors come and you get to sample food from everyone! I think that my dad had atleast 5 Italian Ice's. So yummy!!

Hanging out... it was perfect weather... no humidity!!!

Such a cute messy face!

Grandma and the 'lil man!

Keagan with Aunt Kami and Ed.

Keagan loved listening to Mo Tab with my dad!!!

He would chase Molly around! She is such a good dog and would let Keagan climb all over her!

I don't think that this kid could be any more loved!

Keagan with Uncle Mike!

My cousin Brandee came and visited at my mom's house with her sweet little baby, Cambree. The two babies had a fun time playing together!

Keagan had so much fun with Grandma!!

LAGOON

This summer has been one of the craziest, traveling summers that Brent and I have had in awhile. But it has also been tons of fun! We were able to go to Utah for Brent to do some research and for Keagan and I to hang out with my family!

While in Utah, Keagan and I went to an amusement park called Lagoon. It was a blast. Keagan went on his first Merry-Go-Round....

Played darts and won 2 prizes....

Rode the terroride!

before the terroride...

during the terroride... so fun!

rode the train! Aunt Karlie and K waiting for the train!

Still waiting for the train... we love to take photos!!!

Finally on the train!

Lagoon also has a water park! Keagan LOVES splashing in the water!!

Rode his first ferris wheel

We also saw a great cirque performance and was able to be there when Karlie got shamelessly hit on by a performer! It was an awesome day!!!

The Hawk!

One of my absolutely favorite ways to do Keagan's hair is in a mohawk! I swear his hair is meant to be worn this way, cause it grows into a mini faux-hawk naturally! So cute!

Happy Fourth!

Happy Fourth of July! We had a great weekend. On Saturday we spent the day with Brent's Uncle's family. They have a bunch of ducks that Keagan absolutely LOVED! He would just giggle and talk with them. It was so cute. We didn't stay for any fireworks cause we had a tired little boy. Maybe next year we will be able to stay up for them!!!

Playing with Aunt Shelley.

I love taking pictures with my little boy!!

Hope everyone had a safe and fun Fourth!! Thanks to all of the men and women that help protect our great nation, especially my brother Dustin! We love you!!!

7 Months Old!

I cannot believe that my baby is 7 months old! He can now:
1.Crawl everywhere!!!
2.Scream louder than anybody I know. He doesn't scream cause he is mad. He doesn't scream cause he is upset. He screams because he CAN. Brent is threatening to move out if this phase doesn't quiet down sometime soon!
3. Say "Mama". Nobody was believing me that he was saying "mama", but the other day he jumped out of Brents arms towards me saying "MAMA"! PROOF!!
4. Is still a mama's boy.
5. Still sleeps like a champion! I could not ask for a better sleeper!
6. Has discovered that he has opinions. If there is something that he wants, he will let you know! And usually it is the things that we don't want him to have. i.e. cell phones, computers, remotes.... Let the fun begin, right?
Keagan is still the biggest joy in our lives!

Playing with his friend. All of Keagan's friends are girls and atleast 18 months older than him. Apparently he already likes older women. His dad is so proud!! :)
And Keagan is already trained that when a camera is present, you need to have a smile ready... good boy!

So cute!!!

Life is sometimes not fair...

About a month ago, Brent was sent to Scotland to do a presentation. Keagan and I were extremely jealous that we were not invited along! His presentation went great and he had a fabulous time. I think that he would say that the worst part was the flight back home in coach seating. The lucky guy got bumped up to first class for the flight over and thus knew how the better half lived!!! If we ever go over seas in the future I think that Brent will make us pay the big bucks for the good seating!

Brent brought Keagan home a couple of Scottish tams, which are the hats that the little kids wear. Of course we had to do a photo shoot of him wearing it! So cute!!!

Brent got me a beautiful scarf for this upcoming winter. I am excited to wear it this year... that is about the only plus side to the winter....
