Philadelphia Bound...

Two days after we moved into our new apartment, Keagan and I flew to Phili with my co-workers for a conference. This was Keagan's first time on an airplane and he was a champion! He had zero problems and flirted with all of the females anywhere near him.

The Dr. that I work for raves and raves about MidWest Air because they make fresh chocolate chip cookies on the plane. Well the chocolate chip cookies were delicious, but they were cold and NOT cooked on the airplane. Overall I would recommend flying with MidWest.

He loved looking out the window.

We were able to go and sightsee in Phili before the conference started. It was lots of fun. I miss being in big cities!!!

Keagan cruised the streets of Phili in style! Feet up... laid back... I was jealous!

The Liberty Bell

Keagan already loves history! His dad is so proud!

Keagan and I had matching Blackshirts! Go Huskers!

We went to dinner at a place called Paddy Whacks in Penns Landing. It was wicked good!

Life has been crazy lately. We never stop going. But it has been tons of fun. Next stop... Chicago and Erie, PA.

Moving Week

The day after we got home from Utah, it was the start of a crazy week. Monday we moved over the small stuff that fit in the car and then Tuesday we got a huge truck for the big stuff. Apparently, we have WAY more crap than we had originally thought because it took TWO truck loads to get everything to our new place. We are SOOO happy with our new apartment. It is much bigger and nicer. All I can say is, GOOD RIDDANCE LINDSAY MANAGEMENT! They are the WORST!!!!!

Keagan played with his cousin, Ashley, in the grass while we packed! He loved it!

During the moving week we were lucky to be able to visit with Grandma Becky. She had traveled from Arkansas with a friend. It was so great seeing her. Keagan loved her instantly. He jumped into her arms everytime that she was around!

Thank you to everyone that helped us move! We could not have done it without you!!!

The Long Road Home...

The drive from Utah to Nebraska is ALWAYS long and horrible, but this last time was extremely horrible! There was an accident on the freeway outside of Ogalala, NE and it stopped both lanes. We were at a stand still for 1 1/2 hours so we let Keagan practice being behind the wheel!

When we finally got up to the wreck we were horrified. A big-rig had exploded and was completely charred. Hopefully the driver was ok. The fire had been so bad that the surrounding ground was all burnt.

The drive ended up taking us 15 hours!!! But we made it home safely and had a great vacation in Utah! Can't wait til the next time!!!!

Turning 8 months in Utah!

Keagan was able to hang out with family in Utah on his 8month birthday! We went to the park for Layton's "Taste of the Town". It was great. A bunch of local vendors come and you get to sample food from everyone! I think that my dad had atleast 5 Italian Ice's. So yummy!!

Hanging out... it was perfect weather... no humidity!!!

Such a cute messy face!

Keagan with Aunt Kami and Ed.

Keagan loved listening to Mo Tab with my dad!!!

He would chase Molly around! She is such a good dog and would let Keagan climb all over her!

I don't think that this kid could be any more loved!

Keagan with Uncle Mike!

My cousin Brandee came and visited at my mom's house with her sweet little baby, Cambree. The two babies had a fun time playing together!

Keagan had so much fun with Grandma!!

LAGOON

This summer has been one of the craziest, traveling summers that Brent and I have had in awhile. But it has also been tons of fun! We were able to go to Utah for Brent to do some research and for Keagan and I to hang out with my family!

While in Utah, Keagan and I went to an amusement park called Lagoon. It was a blast. Keagan went on his first Merry-Go-Round....

Played darts and won 2 prizes....

Rode the terroride!

before the terroride...

during the terroride... so fun!

rode the train! Aunt Karlie and K waiting for the train!

Still waiting for the train... we love to take photos!!!

Finally on the train!

Lagoon also has a water park! Keagan LOVES splashing in the water!!

Rode his first ferris wheel

We also saw a great cirque performance and was able to be there when Karlie got shamelessly hit on by a performer! It was an awesome day!!!

The Hawk!

One of my absolutely favorite ways to do Keagan's hair is in a mohawk! I swear his hair is meant to be worn this way, cause it grows into a mini faux-hawk naturally! So cute!
